Ground Mount
Ground
mounting on a platform allows the solar panel to be positioned off the
ground in a location that does not have a suitable existing flat
structure. The platform has been constructed in the bush to screen
it from full view, while still receiving full sun throughout the hottest
part of the day.
Standard Mount
Panels
can be custom fitted where there is a need to maximize the used space
due to other structures. These custom 20 foot panels are all that is
needed to keep this pool at optimum temperature summer round.
Custom Fitting
If the roof surface choice is limited the panels can be mounted in parallel to take advantage of the roof surface. Again the key is to offer the panels the most southerly exposure for maximum efficiency. The filled weight of the panels is very small due to its design. Roof strength will not be compromised.
Large Installations
Note the way the panels lie flat on the roof. The panels have been moved up one roof tile from the feed end (see the arrows) to allow proper drainage at the end of the season.
Panel Mountings
The panel design both protects the roof surface and allows the free movement of air to ventilate the roof tiles and allow rainwater to shed properly. The cross straps prevent any tendency for the panels to lift in storms. Since the panels are flexible they lay flat easily and resist warping.
